KISIMA is a socio-political podcast that runs a special series of first-hand conversations and discussions by Kenyan youth on the state of our nation. We discuss topics in our politics, our society (social commentaries) and civic engagemenent as a means to inspire new perspectives in these areas that both unite and divide Kenyans. KISIMA PODCAST is Swahili for a ‘well’, used in this podcast’s name to demonstrate depth. KISIMA PODCAST stimulates depth in the exchange of ideas that will encourage the Kenyan youth to assume a more pro-active stance in society and the politics that shape it. The name therefore stands as a riddle (mfumbo --in Swahili), whose layers you get to uncover as you interact with the podcast.
